A New Way to Understand Your Body’s Messages
Here’s what I have come to believe through my own healing journey and years of working with others:
As children, many of us experience stress and unexpressed emotions in our stomachs. As adults, those same emotional patterns often move upward and begin expressing themselves through the heart.
While SVT has a structural component, I don’t believe the timing of episodes is random. Again and again, I see episodes coincide with emotional stress, depletion, self-neglect, grief, pushing beyond our limits, or living out of alignment with what our heart truly needs.
To me, SVT isn’t just an electrical event.
It’s also a messenger.
A symptom.
An invitation to pause and ask:
- What is my heart trying to tell me?
- Where am I holding stress or unexpressed emotions?
- What do I need that I haven’t been giving myself?
- Where have I abandoned my own needs?
- What part of me is asking to be heard?
When we begin asking these questions, healing work becomes an act of self-empowerment.
Instead of fearing our symptoms, we begin listening to them.
That doesn’t replace medical care—it complements it by helping us understand the emotional, nutritional, nervous system, and lifestyle factors that may also be influencing our health.
Over time, I have found that some of the most powerful healing tools are also some of the simplest:
- Journaling
- Emotional processing
- Nervous system support
- Self-care
- Healthy boundaries
- Nourishing food
- Hydration
- Magnesium and key nutrients
- Reconnecting with your intuition
These practices help us respond to our hearts with compassion instead of fear.
Your body has been communicating with you your entire life.
Perhaps it first spoke through your stomach.
Now it may be speaking through your heart.
The invitation is simply to listen.
Ready to Begin Listening?
One of the most transformative tools I’ve discovered is journaling.
Journaling creates a safe space to process emotions, recognize patterns, reconnect with your intuition, and begin hearing the wisdom your heart has been trying to share all along.
To help you begin, I’ve created a free guide called Journaling with Your Intuition, filled with guided prompts and exercises to help you strengthen your relationship with your inner guidance.
If you’re looking for more personalized support, I also offer private 75-minute Integrative Healing Sessions, where we explore your unique
SVT story together and create practical, individualized next steps for your healing journey.
Above all, I want you to know this:
Your body is not betraying you.
Your heart is trying to guide you home.
