I am very excited to announce my new series called “Meet The Experts”. My first contribution comes from my very own Health Coach, the lovely Sharon Goldner. I went to Sharon  in 2011 because I was concerned about my reliance on convenience foods, sugar and bread. I felt exhausted upon waking, constipated, anxious, had headaches, and of course, accelerated heart issues list SVT, mis-fires, and arrhythmia. I also had POTS at sharon headshotthe time. (Postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome.)

After listening carefully to all of my complaints, Sharon suggested that I might have a wheat/gluten intolerance.

Her brilliant approach was to “crowd out” the wheat whereby I slowly introduce quinoa, millet and brown rice into my diet, replacing the offending foods, and to see if I felt better. These were the first baby steps that I took toward living a gluten free lifestyle. I credit many of my new and improved cooking skills to the simple and convenient methods that Sharon taught me. I also attribute my massive and positive health shift to changing my diet.  Sharon laid the foundation for me to make life long changes that have helped me to drastically reduce my Supra-ventricular tachycardia.

I am pleased to introduce Sharon to the SVT community as our first expert. Sharon will help shed light on the confusing subject of gluten-Intolerance (which includes people with both celiac disease and non-celiac gluten sensitivity) and how it affects the gut and can cause damage throughout the body.
